Experience

Voxl.Vision | Owner, Founder
August 2018 - Present, Baltimore Maryland

A voxel is defined as a unit of graphic information that identifies a point in three-dimensional space.

Voxl.Vision has been an abstract idea of mine for a few years now, and one I’ve been excited to develop for even longer. As a 3D Artist, architectural designer, software developer and illustrator with 10 years experience I’ve always felt compelled to break out on my own and build a company I can be truly proud of. My goal for Vox.lVision is to create beautiful, emotional, immersive visuals for our clients and create a space where our employees have all the tools they need so that they can create freely, a place where they can enjoy themselves and a place they love to work at every day. We’re small now but I see great things in our future. | www.voxl.vision

studioJDK | Director of Visualization
March 2017 - 2018, Baltimore Maryland | Aspen Colorado

As Director of Visualization, I work with the studioJDK team to develop methods of standardizing work-flows for all Arch-Viz assets, renderings, AR, immersive VR and animations. This includes both hardware and software. I am also responsible for the development and standardization of 3D assets, renderings, Photoshop post-production, and texturing. Additional roles include communicating directly with clients, organizing projects and coordinating with team members to produce the best possible visuals.

Chaos Group | V-Ray for SketchUp Product Development Manager
November 2015 - March 2017, Baltimore Maryland

After working closely with the core development teams in Sofia, Bulgaria on the re-design and strategic planning of other projects I gained extensive experience in product development, Scrum planning and team coordination.  This led to the development of an outline for the future development of V-Ray 3 for the AEC market,  and I was promoted to V-Ray for SketchUp Product Development Manager. This position allowed me to help spearhead the development of  the UI/UX design of the recently released beta of V-Ray 3.4 for SketchUp | www.chaosgroup.com

Chaos Group | V-Ray for SketchUp and Rhino Team, 3D Artist and Software Trainer
October 2013 - November 2015, Baltimore, Maryland

As a 3D Artist, specializing in V-Ray for SketchUp I was brought on to better the product and help others understand it.  My responsibilities included both on-site and remote team training for artists and architecture firms alike, answering user questions and work with the developers to create a better V-Ray for SketchUp. I was also responsible for the development of 3D Content and images for advertising and commercial use. | www.chaosgroup.com

GFF Architects | Retail Design Project Coordinator
March 2011 – 2013, Dallas, Texas

Using my background in retail-based architecture, I worked with the retail design team on new shopping centers, renovations and expansions. Through 3D design and photo-real rendering, I was able to provide clients with a clear understanding of their building’s function, and relationship to the site and the user | www.gff.com
